Very Serious Signs of a Vision Problem
If you notice the any of the symptoms below, see a physician immediately as they may indicate a very serious vision problem.
If you notice a lump, swelling or drooping of the eye lid, it may be an inflammation which is an emergency if it happens suddenly and the lid is red and hot. It may also be an indication that an eye muscle is weak or there is a tumor causing blockage of vision. A large cornea in one or both eyes can be a sign of glaucoma in both the newboard and infant, especially when the eye waters and avoids light. If you notice a white or cloudy pupil, this can be a sign of a cataract or tumor in the eye.
