Eye Care for Kids Calendar Now Available

For the last few years, the Children's Eye Foundation has held the "Eye Care for Kids" contest to help raise awareness about children's vision disorders. This program consists of an online contest where we ask photographers to submit pictures and then vote on their favorite entries.

Here are a few facts and figures from the contest this year:

• More than 1,100 photographs were submitted
• 70,000 website visitors viewed submissions and voted for their favorites
• 22,000 votes were cast

The top vote-receiving entries received a digital camera and a panel of judges selected the images used to develop the Eye Care for Kids calendar. Click on the calendar to the right to view the finished product and hopefully the images will conjur "visions of home"
