Texas Capital Bank Supports See by Three, Children’s Eye Foundation
Grant Will Help Save Sight in Fort Worth, Texas
Tuesday, December 13, 2011 – Fort Worth, Texas
The Children’s Eye Foundation is pleased to announce that Texas Capital Bank has funded a grant to support See by Three in Fort Worth, Texas.
See by Three focuses on training, research and public awareness as a means to better detect and treat vision disorders in children so that they will “see by three”. By training pediatricians and their staff on vision screening techniques, See by Three helps to:
- Decrease the amount of time it takes to perform a vision screening
- Increase the quality of vision screenings performed in the doctor’s office
- Coordinate care for those children who have vision problems
“See by Three will ensure high-quality vision screenings for 26,000 children in four years,” says Thomas Rogers, Children’s Eye Foundation executive director. “To reach that many children, we need the support of organizations like Texas Capital Bank, who have a demonstrated commitment to the Fort Worth community.”
“The gift of sight is precious and Texas Capital Bank is very pleased to make this donation at this special time of year,” said Jeff Moten, Texas Capital Bank’s Fort Worth Regional President. “The bank’s hope is that our gift will help bring awareness to the need for more specialized pediatric ophthalmologists and help more children receive the care they desperately need.”
