Join the Back to School Children’s Vision Twitter Chat!
In the midst of all the fun Back to School activities, one of the most important tasks includes making sure your kids are healthy and ready to take on a new year. And it’s critical that kids head into school with the best vision possible.
The Children’s Eye Foundation is very excited that on Thursday, August 30 at 7pm EST, Lighthouse Guild and Columbia Doctors Children’s Health will be hosting a Twitter chat to help answer all your questions about children’s vision for back to school. This Twitter chat will give parents useful information to better understand the importance of vision screening for their children, even their very young children, and how to get this done. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions from Dr. Steven Brooks, Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Columbia University, New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital as well as from Lighthouse Guild, Dr. Linda Gerra and parent Jo Murray.
