Dr. Katherine Lee is currently the President of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She practices in a hospital-based multi-specialty pediatric clinic in Boise, Idaho.
Dr. Lee attended Carleton College. She participated in an MD/Ph.D. program at Washington University. She participated in an ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan and a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Lee is active in clinical research through the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group. She has served on committees directed to peer learning through the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is an active volunteer at her local YMCA serving as committee chair, fundraising chair, and Board member.
She enjoys all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology. She is pleased to have a profession that nourishes her inner silly person and believes all children have a right to accessible and excellent eye care.
