Dr. Pamela Williams currently practices pediatric ophthalmology at the Pediatric Eye Care Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, she attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She continued her training at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana where she completed internship, residency and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology. She has been in private practice since completing her fellowship in 2004.
Dr. Williams has been active in her state ophthalmology society, Louisiana Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Williams participated in the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Leadership Development Program. She received the Secretariat Award from the Secretary of State Affairs of the AAO. She has served of the board of directors for the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) and has also served on numerous committees. She is also an active member of the American Eye Study Club.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, photography and water sports.
