Heidi is a government and political affairs professional turned entrepreneur who built Fitz Frames to revolutionize the eyeglass experience - making it more accessible and convenient for families. She started her career on Capitol Hill in a variety of Congressional staff roles and then in the private sector, at Clear Channel Communications. In Los Angeles, Heidi worked as a political consultant where she raised funds and organized events for local, state, and federal campaigns and candidates, as well as non-profit organizations. Heidi also represented private donors, serving as a liaison and advisor on the allocation of their time and political dollars.
Heidi was inspired to start Fitz as a mother who spent many years looking for eyeglasses for her family and believes every kid should have access to glasses that enable them to see and change the world.
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She serves on the California Advisory Board of Vision to Learn, a non-profit organization that gives free eye exams and glasses to children across the United States.
